DGFP, Management Information System (Service Data)

MIS system was established for the record keeping and reporting systems at the grass root level to generate RH-FP-MCH performance data. Monitoring and supervision system was implemented for overall FP-MCH services. MIS helps to ensure better monitoring and supervision which helped to achieve Contraceptive Acceptance Rate (CAR) and Contraceptive Prevalence Rate (CPR) increased. MIS has the following objectives-  To generate valid, accurate and quality information/data on RH-FP-MCH services, logistics and personnel from all levels of Service Delivery Points (SDPs);  To develop national plan, formulate, strengthen and evaluate the progress of RH-FP-MCH on the basis of evidence based data;  To monitor the program and its strengths and weaknesses in a more systematic way.
